Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the remains of a woman found after the Station Fire in the Angeles National Forest.

Using the skull, the coroner's office came up with a sketch of the female victim. The woman's skeletal remains were discovered last December near the Angeles Crest Highway.

Investigators say the remains may have been at the location for an extended period of time, possibly several years before the Station Fire, which broke out in August 2009.

Officials say Jane Doe is either white or Hispanic and between 20 and 40 years old.
