Temecula man arrested for alleged flashing

TEMECULA, Calif. Aaron Ian Pratt, 23, was arrested July 1 on suspicion of misdemeanor indecent exposure and annoying or molesting a child, a spokesman for the /*Riverside County*/ district attorney's office said.

Investigators said the alleged incident occurred on Monday, June 21, in the parking lot adjacent to the Wal-Mart store located in the 32000 block of Temecula Parkway in the city of Temecula.

Police said the girl told investigators a driver stopped his vehicle near her and asked for directions. During the encounter, the girl noticed the driver had exposed his private parts to her view, at which point she backed away from his automobile and he drove off.

Officials said that Pratt was later identified as the suspect. He was arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center.

Investigators believe Pratt may have committed similar acts targeting women at this and other Temecula shopping centers in the days and weeks preceding the alleged incident.
