Police: Car thieves case vehicles in Ventura

Ventura Police are looking for two men who residents on the 10000 block of Jamestown Street said were casing vehicles in the area on motorized bicycles Monday.Police say officers responded to the complaint at about 5:24 a.m. along with a report of prowlers in the backyard of a residence on the 10100 block of Darling Road. When officers arrived, the suspects had fled.

Officers say they canvassed the neighborhood and found the two motorized bicycles along with several bags of property allegedly stolen from unlocked vehicles in the area.

Police say the suspects remain at large. The two suspects were described as males, one between 16 and 20 years old.

Police said three residents in the neighborhood were victimized.
