Brush fire near Dodger Stadium contained

LOS ANGELES The fire in the hills near the stadium scorched about one acre on Elysian Park Road near the interchange of the Pasadena and Golden State freeways.

A game was underway between the Dodgers and the New York Mets. The game has not been disrupted because of the fire, which broke out about 3 p.m.

Los Angeles firefighters said the winds are low and the fire, which is burning medium to light brush, has not grown.

No structures were threatened and no damage or injuries were reported.
