The suspect is identified as 27-year old Gilbert Hernandez of Santa Paula.
Investigators say Hernandez got into a fight inside the parking structure with several unidentified men. The fight broke up and the men got into a black sedan. But witnesses say, Hernandez then went to his car to get a semi-automatic handgun. Investigators say he fired on the sedan as the men drove away.
The gun has been recovered but police are still not sure if anyone was injured inside the vehicle that left the scene.
Officers tased Hernandez during his arrest.
He has since been booked into Ventura County Jail for shooting at an occupied vehicle.
