Lopez was a summer school student at /*Valley View High School*/ in Moreno Valley. She was walking home to a friend's house after school almost two weeks ago when she was abducted in a vacant field just around the corner from the school. Then, six days later her body was found about two and a half miles away.
Hundreds attended Lopez's funeral on Thursday in Moreno Valley.
Authorities are still looking for tips to help solve the crime. Anyone with information related to the case was asked to call the Moreno Valley Police Department at (877) 242-4345.
