'Ho-Hum' bandit connected with 12 bank heists

Police have connected the 'Ho-Hum Bandit' with 12 bank robberies in San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties.

A suspect dubbed by authorities as the "Ho Hum Bandit" is being sought in connection with 12 bank robberies in San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties.The FBI nicknamed the suspect the "Ho-Hum Bandit" because of his bland appearance.

Laguna Beach police said on June 23 and July 24, the suspect robbed the U.S. Bank in Laguna Beach. Photos have been released from another robbery at a bank in Cathedral City, which clearly depict the suspect's face.

He is described as 28 to 35 years old, white, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs around 160 to 180 pounds, has red hair and sideburns with light complexion and red freckles

The suspect has not shown a weapon but has implied that he has a gun during the robberies.
