CARSON, Calif. --
A pile of drunken driving crashes on the 405 and 110 freeway interchange resulted in seven injuries and two arrests.California Highway Patrol officials said a minivan hit a center divider and triggered a chain of accidents around 3 a.m. on the transition road between the northbound 405 and the northbound 110 freeways.
Four vehicles were involved and two drivers were later arrested.
Three passengers were hospitalized in critical condition.
The crash temporarily shut down all northbound lanes of both freeways.
All lanes were reopened at around 5 a.m.
