Dolphin w/prosthetic tail to star in movie

CLEARWATER, Fla. Winter the dolphin got caught in a crab trap four years ago. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida kept her alive, but she lost her tail.

Winter learned to swim without one, something no dolphin had ever done in captivity.

Experts then fit Winter with a prosthetic tail.

Now she'll star in a movie about her life, and the directors have already told Winter's trainer what they want.

"They asked for a few fun behaviors like playing with a ring, spits and vocals sand splashes, and she knows all those things, but what we're doing to actually get her ready for the movie is get her used to everything that's all involved in making a movie," said Winter's trainer Abby Stone.

Filming starts in September.
