Bogus nursing school to pay students $500K

LOS ANGELES The state Attorney General's office said the fake school, which called itself the "RN Learning Center," created an illusion that it offered an accredited nursing program by holding classes complete with graduations.

The school had no accreditation at all.

The students who paid $20,000 tuitions never found out until they applied for state nursing licenses and were told their school was bogus.

The center's been ordered to pay the students $500,000 in restitution.
