Police say Liu was hired as a caretaker by a 74-year-old /*Long Beach*/ woman.
After her client suffered a stroke, Lieu allegedly accessed the woman's bank accounts, stole cash, and sold a strip mall the woman owned to buy a home and jewelry and pay her gambling debts.
Liu's son and boyfriend have already been convicted of financial elder abuse.
