Cody Kalin Barnum, 22, was arrested late Thursday after investigators received a tip from someone who recognized him from bank surveillance images broadcast in news reports.
Barnum is suspected of committing two bank robberies in Ventura. The first happened on May 17 at a First Bank branch. The second happened on June 28 at a U.S. Bank branch.
He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles.
