When she got out of her car, the suspect pulled her purse off her arm, fled to an awaiting getaway car and sped away.
A neighbor saw it happen and took pictures with a cellular phone camera.
The elderly victim's arm was injured in the attack, but she is expected to be OK.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighing about 175 to 190 pounds. He has tattoos on the left side of his neck, left wrist and hand. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, black jeans and blue and black tennis shoes.
