Status hearing set in Lindsay Lohan case

A status hearing will be held in Lindsay Lohan's probation case on Wednesday in Beverly Hills.Earlier, a court official had said Superior Court Judge Elden Fox would issue an unspecified ruling Tuesday afternoon, but now a hearing is being called for Wednesday morning.

Lohan is currently serving a 90-day sentence in a rehabilitation program, but there are reports she could be released early.

The actress has been in rehab since August 2 after serving 14 days in jail for a probation violation in a 2007 drug case.
