Celebs reveal intimate details at Emmys

LOS ANGELES /*Sofia Vergara*/ was a golden goddess in her Carolina Herrera gown, and if you think she had to starve herself before the red carpet -- think again.

"I just had french fries. I had a bagel in the morning. Then I had creme brulee and then two glasses of champagne," said Vergara.

/*Betty White*/ was practical when she went shopping.

"I hauled this out of the back of my closet. I think I wore it to an Emmys fifteen years ago. I just hauled it out," said White. "I thought, 'Why not give it another go around.'"

My own favorite dress of the red carpet was worn by /*Toni Collette*/.

"It's like a Monet painting," said Collette.

But my favorite find of the night was actor Boris Kodjoe, who runs his own line of custom made clothing, World of Alfa.

"It's my own company, my brother Patrick and myself we could never fit in regular clothes, and couldn't afford custom," said Kodjoe. "This affordable custom made clothing. The shirt is $30 and a suit is $200."

And it's become a tradition for me to visit with the stars of "The Office" on Emmys red carpet.

"Diamonds are a boys best friend. I have to do something new when I'm coming to see you George," said actor Leslie David Baker. "You lead fashion and I have to follow in my humble way. Next year I'm going to be doing something fun with a vest."
