Witnesses said that several people jumped out of the basket and the pilot quickly pulled the balloon off the road and into the parking lot of an elementary school.
"We were nervous about where they were going to land, land here in the trees, telephone poles or wires or something," said Melanie Giolitto, a Sabre Springs resident.
Fortunately, the balloon did not crash into anything and no one was injured.
