Disney/ABC, Time Warner sign new agreement

LOS ANGELES The new long-term deal will give subscribers unprecedented digital access to online content and expanded Video On Demand services.

The agreement was reached Thursday before any service interruptions. It includes several new services for subscribers including Disney Junior, ESPN3.com, ESPN Goal Line, and ESPN Buzzer Beater.

ESPN3.com access will be made available to all of /*Time Warner Cable*/'s video subscribers without an extra charge. ESPN3.com offers full game videos, and recently carried live World Cup games that weren't being shown on ABC.

The deal also ensures /*Disney*/ gets carriage of Disney Junior, the new 24-hour basic channel for preschoolers scheduled to launch in 2012.

It also features ABC On Demand and Disney-branded On Demand offerings for kids, including Disney Channel On Demand and Disney XD On Demand.

Disney is the parent company of ABC7.
