Standoff ends in surprise pot farm discovery

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. U.S. Marshal's were serving warrants for three suspects wanted in Arizona. Two of the suspects surrendered immediately but a third refused to give up and barricaded himself in the house in Laguna Hills.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department and the SWAT team were called in.

After seven hours the SWAT team broke through the door and did not find the suspect, but did find an indoor pot farm.

Deputies counted 170 pot plants in various stages of growth and numerous bags filled with marijuana.
