Suspects sought in Azusa nightclub shooting

AZUSA, Calif. The shooting took place early Sunday morning outside the D Club at 975 W. Foothill Blvd. in /*Azusa*/.

Police said a group of men had been escorted out of the club for causing a disturbance. Once they were in the parking lot, that group began arguing with another group of men, before getting into a car and shooting at the crowd.

Two people were hurt, including a security guard. The security guard was shot in the abdomen. Another man was shot in the arm.

Both men were hospitalized, but expected to recover.

Police said one of the suspects may have lost his cell phone at the club prior to the shooting. That phone has not been found.

Detectives asked anyone who may have found the phone to turn it over to police.
