Cat knocks 4-carat diamond ring into toilet

MEMPHIS, Tenn. "You wouldn't be able to just call the jeweler and say 'Hey, I need another one of those.' You know it's not going to happen," said Diane Buckalew.

Buckalew figured out her cat, Jinxi, had knocked the ring into the toilet. The only thing to do was to call a plumber with a camera to snake through the pipes and find it.

The plumber was able to retrieve the ring, which was located about halfway through pipes underneath the house. If the toilet was flushed just once more, the ring would have entered the city tap, the plumber said.
