According to witnesses, Alyssa Hernandez, 11, was getting her haircut in Toledo when her mother became upset because the stylist cut her daughter's hair without her being there.
Hernandez said they were told it would be a 45-minute wait. When her mother went outside for a smoke, the girl was taken earlier.
"She said she didn't appreciate it when they did it because she wanted to be there," the girl said. "She went in, the girl said, 'We're not nobody's babysitter,' and got in my mom's face."
Police said the mother punched the salon's manager in the face when she stepped in to break up the squabble.
Both suffered minor injuries.
