September 13, 2010 12:41:58 AM PDT
Police need the public's help finding a driver after a hit-and-run accident left a woman dead in San Bernardino.Authorities said 43-year-old Lauretta Romo was riding a bike westbound on Highland Avenue near the 215 Freeway overpass when a car slammed into her and killed her just after midnight on Friday.

Police had named 29-year-old Bobby Jackson as a suspect in the fatal accident. He turned himself into police Monday afternoon. After questioning Jackson and inspecting his vehicle, police say Jackson is no longer considered a person of interest in the investigation.

Investigators are still looking for the dark green vehicle that was involved in the accident.

Anyone with information is urged to call the San Bernardino Police Department at (909) 384-5664.
