Buses transported passengers to the next station. Passengers were advised to take the I.E., O.C. and San Bernardino lines to get around the Riverside line. The track was reopened, but delays were expected.
RIVERSIDE, Calif. --A Metrolink train struck and killed a pedestrian in Riverside early Monday morning, forcing delays for commuters.The accident was reported at 4:50 a.m. at Jurupa Avenue between the Riverside and Pedley stations. There are no reports of injuries to any of the 150 passengers or crew on the train.
