Ohio football team mascots scuffle on field

COLUMBUS, Ohio The 19-year-old wearing the Ohio University mascot costume had one purpose only, and that was to get Ohio State's mascot, Brutus.

Video posted on Bucknut.com shows Brandon Hanning in the bobcat costume take Brutus to the ground. Then he jumps on his back.

Hanning isn't even a student at Ohio University anymore. He said that he only tried out for the mascot position to pull off his attack plan.

Ohio University has apologized and banned Hanning from the athletics department.

Ohio State won the game, 43-7.
