CDC: Calif. gets 'A' for swine flu handling

LOS ANGELES The /*CDC*/ said state officials responded quickly and efficiently, with most counties getting shipments of the vaccine within 24 hours of requesting it.

CDC experts credit the /*California Department of Public Health*/, saying their training, testing and planning were key to being prepared in the face of the pandemic.

California shipped out about 2 million dose of vaccines and antiviral medications to local health departments, statewide.
