Man swims record of 290 yards in one breath

A swimmer in New Zealand set a new world record.

Free-diver David Mullins swam 290 yards underwater on a single breath.

It took him four minutes in an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Mullins is a champion free diver. His lungs can hold four gallons of oxygen and he can hold his breath underwater for eight minutes.
