Acupuncture may not help stroke recovery

IKSAN, South Korea Researchers from Wonkwang University in South Korea searched 25 databases and 12 major Korean traditional medicine journals. Of the 664 studies on the topic, researchers found 10 that met their criteria.

According to Reuters, several different analyses of the trials found acupuncture did not improve a patient's recovery from a stroke.

The findings are published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
