Ready for space tourism? Wait 18 months

Billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson says his company, Virgin Galactic, is on track to offer commercial space travel in 18 months.

His aircraft, SpaceShipTwo (SS2), will carry paying customers into suborbital space after it's launched from a mother ship.

Branson says space hotels, perhaps on the moon, are also on the drawing board.

The SS2 is capable of carrying six people at a time.

Fares will start at $200,000.
