Dog with ears cut off gets new home in NoHo

LOS ANGELES Phoenix was found as a stray two weeks ago. He was set to be put asleep until a volunteer posted his story on the internet.

His story drew offers to adopt him from across the country, from Canada and even England.

Phoenix was adopted by a North Hollywood couple and moved into his new home last Saturday.

Thom Barg, Phoenix's new owner, said he fell for the dog's sweet face and eyes.
