Judge: Britney Spears conservatorship stays

LOS ANGELES Jamie Spears, who retains control with attorneys over his daughter's personal and financial affairs, also met with the judge on Thursday.

In open court Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz said, "We had a very nice conversation."

Goetz said no changes were being made to the singer's conservatorship, which was established in February 2008 after Spears was involved in several high-profile incidents of erratic behavior.

The 28-year-old was ushered into the judge's chambers by deputies wearing a black dress and black boots.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
