"I went into the house and my daughter asked me if I heard the noise," Monroe said. "My neighbors told me to come out and look at my roof."
The military said the refueling hose fell off a C-130 plane that was taking part in the annual air show at /*Marine Corp Air Station Miramar*/.
Monroe said the hose caused about $10,000 worth of damage to her roof.
No one was injured in the incident.
