Activists rally voters at 'Day of Action'

HOLLYWOOD "We're going to have to come together and find a way to re-imagine this democracy because those politicians in Washington, that cesspool in Washington, is not doing that," said actor Danny Glover.

Glover and others urged voters who support civil rights and social justice to go to the polls in November.

Civil rights groups, organized labor, the gay and lesbian community and environmental activists were all part of Saturday's rally.

They called on elected officials to work together to get something done in Washington.
