Slain bride's family hopeful of finding killer

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. In North Hollywood on Sunday, friends and family members combed the streets, passing out fliers of the suspect, 34-year-old Omar Loera. Police believe Loera stabbed Osmanhodzic to death and then set her house on fire.

At a news conference, the community and Councilman Paul Krekorian sent a out a message to Loera.

"We are coming after you, this community is coming after you, and we are going to get you," Krekorian said.

Authorities say DNA evidence links Loera, a transient parolee, to the crime.

On the day Osmanhodzic was murdered, her fiance Adam Culvey had left to run an errand. He came back to find a man in his home. Culvey chased the man for several blocks but was unable to catch him.

On Sunday, family and friends made a desperate plea to the public.

"If anyone knows where he, is please call any police department," said Osmanhodzic 's mother, Gail Cameron. "He needs to be found. It is the worst thing to lose a child."

Loera has unique tattoos on both his shoulders of Aztec women and is believed to be in the North Hollwood or Fresno area.

Friends and family members said they will not stop their search until the man who killed Osmanhodzic is behind bars.
