Suspect arrested after firing at Westmont car

WESTMONT, Calif. The shooting happened near Denker Avenue and 106th Street around 10 p.m. in an unincorporated area of /*South Los Angeles*/.

Deputies with the /*Los Angeles Sheriff's Department*/ said the suspect, who was on foot, opened fire on a Dodge Magnum station wagon.

The victim was taken to a hospital but his condition has not been released.

Deputies later arrested the suspect with the help of a K-9 crew.
