SUN VALLEY, Calif. --
The LAPD received a report of a suspect with a gun in a restaurant at Lankershim Blvd. and Pendleton St. in Sun Valley.It was unclear if the man was alone or had customers in the restaurant with him. The incident was reported at 4:20 p.m.
Police summoned at least one SWAT unit to the scene.
The Lankershim exit of the 5 Freeway was closed by police while they investigated.
