The quick-thinking clerk then grabbed the gun and turned it on the man.
The suspect ran so fast out of the store, he lost his shoe.
"Everybody's like, 'Oh, you're a hero. You did so good.' But I'm not a hero. I just did what I thought was right. I would rather me have the gun than him have the gun," said April Wilmer.
No one was hurt, but the robber did make off with an unknown amount of money.
