Man found fatally shot on Adelanto front yard

ADELANTO, Calif. When officials responded to a report of shots fired at around 8:30 p.m. on the 12000 block Aztec Lane, they found Dwayne Mott laying in the front yard with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Several witnesses were interviewed and evidence was recovered at the scene, including the alleged murder weapon, according to /*San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department*/.

Following their initial investigation, officials said they are looking for Jordan Burleson, 22, for questioning in connection with the shooting.

It is unclear what may have led to the shooting and investigators have not yet revealed why Burleson is being sought in the case.
