Arrests made in Ventura home burglary

VENTURA, Calif. Michael Parsons, 41, and Todd Stines, 39, were arrested Wednesday at a hotel on the 5800 block of Valentine Road. Investigators have not said what specific information led to the arrests. Investigators say a stolen firearm connected to the burglary was found in the suspects' hotel room.

The case began Sunday morning when an off-duty Ventura Police employee saw a man carrying property from a home through a back yard. The witness noticed the man jump into a waiting green '90s Ford sedan. He was later joined by a second suspect before the two sped away, the witness told officers.

A third suspect believed linked to the burglary, is now being sought by police. According to initial reports, the suspect is described as a white female in her 20s with brown hair.

Both Parsons and Stines were booked into the Ventura County Jail on suspicion of residential burglary, police said.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Ventura Police Department at (805) 339-4416.
