Sex crimes parolee flees IE halfway house

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. William Quantrille, 26, went missing from the halfway house at 13874 Choco Rd. in Apple Valley at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday after removing the tracking bracelet from his ankle. Victorville Parole agents notified Apple Valley Police at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.

The public is advised to avoid contact with Quantrille, who suffers from Asperger syndrome. Police say his behavior can be very impulsive. Anyone who sees Quantrille should call 911.

Quantrille does not have a vehicle nor connections in the area.

Quantrille is described as standing 5 feet 11 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Quantrille's whereabouts was urged to contact Deputy Mike Sandlin at (760) 240-7400 or San Bernardino County Sheriff's Dispatch at (760) 245-4211.
