The three men approached one of the teenagers and told him to empty his pockets. When he refused, the suspects beat him up. The teen's friend came to help him, but also got beat up when he didn't hand over his personal belongings.
A passerby called police and tried to chase the suspects, but they got away.
Both victims suffered cuts on their faces.
