Man follows girl, offers unwanted car ride

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. The girl said she was running for her physical education class near Delight Street and Camp Plenty Road before noon Thursday when a man in a dark blue, mid-size van repeatedly offered her a ride.

She said the unwanted advances made her nervous, so she ran back to Canyon High School and told officials.

The man followed her for a short distance and then left.
