Aggressive gator chases man near S.C. mall

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. The gator was spotted in a pond right across the street from the mall in Myrtle Beach.

Everything seemed fine until the animal lunged out of the water and chased a man up an embankment.

Now, people are worried for kids who go fishing in the pond.

They don't want to see anyone get hurt. Some folks want to see the alligator relocated to a new pond far away.

They called police but were told state law deals with wildlife so there was little officers could do.
