The groom had his face painted orange and black and wore a cape. The bride wore a tiara and drew red and yellow flames around her eyes, the same color as the Chiefs.
The happy couple said some people dream of a white wedding, but they wanted one with a little flare.
"When the Chiefs schedule finally came out, I called her and was like the [Buffalo] Bills are playing on /*Halloween*/. We gotta get married that day," said Richard Peterson, the groom.
After tying the knot, the couple said all that was left was a chiefs win.
Kansas City ended up beating Buffalo, making for a perfect wedding gift.
