A security flaw may be part of the reason the Cadillac Escalade is the most stolen vehicle in the United States. ABC's Detroit affiliate station WXYZ uncovered an issue with the steering wheel and reported that thieves can steal the luxury SUV in less than 15 seconds.
Some escalades don't have steering interlocks, which allows thieves who break in to turn the wheel.
Thieves can use another car to push the escalade to a place where it can be stripped or towed away.
Cadillac said it is working on stronger anti-theft protection.
