Police chase of green vehicle ends w/ arrests

LONG BEACH, Calif. Authorities said the chase of the suspected stolen vehicle began at 10:03 a.m. in Long Beach. The female driver drove onto the 110 Freeway to the 105 Freeway at a high rate of speed until the driver exited at Manchester Avenue, bringing the pursuit to local streets.

The chase ended in the city of Lakewood at Del Amo Boulevard and Bloomfield Avenue when the green vehicle spun out of control just before 11 a.m. Two women were taken into custody.

During the pursuit, the suspect hit at least four vehicles and drove on the wrong side of the road at times.
