Reward offered to solve murder of 5-year-old

Aaron Shannon Jr., 5, died hours after he was declared brain dead by doctors on Monday. He was shot in the head on Halloween when he was in the backyard of a home in South Los Angeles on Sunday.

A $75,000 reward is being offered to help solve the murder of a child who was shot on Halloween in South Los Angeles.Five-year-old Aaron Shannon Jr. died Monday night.

He was in the backyard of his home dressed in a Spider-Man costume on Halloween when two men opened fire in an alley. He was hit in the head, and two relatives were wounded.

Investigators said the two suspects mistakenly thought the victims were members of a rival gang.
