Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 6-year-old girl abducted by her biological mother from a Reseda elementary school Friday.Authorities said the girl, Kelly Funes, was dropped off by her foster parent at Cantara Street Elementary School in the morning. Before she could be picked up, Crystabel Funes, 29, apparently forged the foster parent's signature and took the girl at about 5:30 p.m.

Kelly Funes was last seen wearing a school uniform that includes navy blue pants, a white shirt and black headband. She was also carrying a black and pink Barbie backpack.

Crystabel Funes is described as 5-foot-1, 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a royal blue shirt, a blue denim skirt, with sunglasses and her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She is known to frequent Van Nuys and Reseda.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call Los Angeles police at (818) 374-7611.
