Salmonella fears lead to Trader Joe's recalls

PASADENA, Calif. The store said that three tons of "Spicy Thai-Style Chicken Salad" with sell-by dates from Oct. 30 to Nov. 6 are possibly contaminated.

Also, the company removed cilantro salad dressing with a sell-by date of Feb. 9, 2011 and cilantro pecan dip with sell-by dates of Nov. 20 or 24, 2010.

Spicy peanut vinaigrette with a Jan. 9, 2011 sell-by date was also included in the recall.

Symptoms of salmonella poisoning can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramping and fever.
