The troubled starlet's mother called the famed addiction center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. an "amazing place" that is really helping her daughter bring her problems to the surface. She said her daughter is happy and relaxed.
Lohan's mother said on NBC's "Today" show on Monday: "She's just a different person."
The actress was sentenced to stay at Betty Ford until early January.
