Justin Bieber recently posted online a new song, "Pray", which is the only new track on his new acoustic album "My Worlds Acoustic". The record hits stores on November 26, aka Black Friday. "Pray" is not acoustic but "represents the spirit behind 'My Worlds Acoustic'", his record company, the Island Def Jam Music Group, said in a statement.
"My dude @kennyhamilton is a former navy man," Bieber, 16, wrote on his Twitter page on Thursday. "Happy Veterans Day Kenny. Here is a preview of #Pray for the soldiers."
His "My Worlds Acoustic" album features acoustic versions of tracks from the pop singer's albums "My World" and "My World 2.0", which have sold a combined total of more than six million copies.
"Justin intends the album as a gift to his fans," the Island Def Jam Music Group said. "The arrangements reflect Justin's early days with merely an acoustic guitar or a lone piano."
"The album adds additional acoustic instrumentation such as a string quartet, congas, and a cajon drum," the company added. "The percussion represents inspiration from Justin's worldly travels, most recently to Africa. Justin plays guitar on the album alongside his musical director and fellow guitarist Dan Kanter."
A biopic about Bieber called Never Say Never is also set for release on February 11 and its trailer has debuted online. The film shows footage of the 16-year-old pop singer in 3D and also includes home movies and behind-the-scenes shots of his summer concerts in Nashville and Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Bieber was also was recently nominated for four American Music Awards, including Favorite Male Artist, Pop or Rock.
